本次全球对话由老龄问题利益攸关方小组、肯尼亚共和国和联合国经济和社会事务部主办，并得到民间社会伙伴的支持，于 7 月 9 日举行。对话探讨了按年龄分列的数据为何重要、仍然存在哪些差距，以及如何通过更好的衡量来加强问责制、揭示贡献并确保老年人充分参与可持续发展工作。
This global dialogue, hosted by the Stakeholder Group on Aging, the Republic of Kenya, and the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs, and supported by civil society partners, was held on July 9. The dialogue explored why age-based data is important, what gaps still exist, and how better measurements can strengthen accountability, reveal contributions, and ensure the full participation of older adults in sustainable development efforts.

发言人：人口老龄化以及老年人的权利和福祉不应被视为狭益的部门问题。这是一项重大的社会和经济转型，影响着可持续发展的方方面面。为了有效应对，我们需要证据。如果没有可靠、易于获取且分类明确的数据，老年人其生活的真实情况仍然会被忽视，政策制定者也无法了解。当投资建设更强大的老龄化相关数据系统时，情况就会有所不同。
发言人：每个国家的悄况各不相同，有些国家非常重视支持其老龄人口，并将此列为优先事项。而有些国家并未着手应对这一问题，这无一于＿颗定时炸弹，因为这正临着人口结构失衡带来的危机；而与此同时，另一些国家劫在为如何降低人口增长率而苦恼……
发言人：如果社会能改变对衰老的看法，包括消除年龄岐歧视，也许就会改变现状。
Spokesperson: Population aging and the rights and well-being of older adults should not be viewed as a narrow departmental issue. It is a major social and economic transformation affecting all aspects of sustainable development. To address it effectively, we need evidence. Without reliable, readily available, and well-categorized data, the true state of life for older adults will remain overlooked, and policymakers will be unable to understand it. The situation will change when we invest in building more robust data systems related to aging.
Spokesperson: Every country's situation is different. Some countries place great importance on supporting their aging populations and prioritize it. Others have not addressed this issue, which is a ticking time bomb, as they face a crisis stemming from demographic imbalances; meanwhile, still others are struggling to reduce population growth rates…
Spokesperson: If society can change its perception of aging, including eliminating age discrimination, perhaps the situation can change.
在研讨会上，与会者表达了希望在数据与老龄化这一主题上进行合作的愿望，并期待在世界数据论坛上举办一到两场相关活动。
At the seminar, attendees expressed their hope to collaborate on the topic of data and aging, and looked forward to holding one or two related events at the World Data Forum.
